As children of God, we receive promises from Him in various ways. We are assured that God is faithful to keep His Word. The challenge is the time between when we receive the promise and when we see its manifestation. This is when we are tempted to grow weary and give up, but we must rise and persevere.
This book studies perseverance through the Bible. It looks at how God uses perseverance to refine us. It also studies people in Scripture who received promises, persevered through difficulties, and received the promise.
